N.O.W.T

FOR ANYONE LOOKING TO PLAY THE GMTK 2024 VERSION, IT IS IN THE DOWNLOADS SECTION. THE HTML5 BUILD ISN'T THE JAM VERSION!!!

N.O.W.T is a 2D endless survival, platformer game (with loose Metroid inspiration) where your objective is to keep a large machine, dubbed the "N.O.W.T" running.

Playing with a controller is RECOMMENDED.

CONTROLS:

Movement - A/D/Left/Right/Control stick/DPad

Jump / Interact - W/Up/Spacebar/South button on controller

Crouch - S/Down/Down Dpad/West button on controller

* Move while crouching to roll, you jump higher while crouching / rolling

HOW TO PLAY:

-- STATUS BARS --

Keep track of your OXYGEN bar. If it depletes entirely, you lose! Also keep an eye on your TEMPERATURE. If it becomes too high or too low, game over.

-- REPAIRING --

The top left of your HUD will tell you which systems need repairing! Be careful, however! If you're low on OXYGEN, you will HALLUCINATE systems being down.

-- NAVIGATION --

In order to do your job effectively, you must know your environment, get used to the map layout!
